Please join us on July 4th! Relive an early celebration of the founding of our country as the staff and volunteers commemorate their independence from Great Britain. Only 38 years have gone by since the founding fathers declared their independence, and young American soldiers and adventurous civilians find themselves at Fort Osage, the most remote of all frontier forts. The Fort's residents take time from their normal daily activities to mark this important milestone with patriotic speeches and musket and cannon salutes.
